I have about two years of accounting experience and just recently joined the firm! My area of specialty is assurance engagements.

What do you enjoy most about working at DDL & Co. in St. Catharines?

What I like about working here so far is that everyone has been very kind and welcoming. I’ve had multiple people help me with any questions or issues I have had.

Why did you choose an accounting career?

I was always good at math growing up, so in high school, I took a few courses that had math components like physics and ended up doing the best in my accounting classes.

Inspirational quote(s) or idea(s) you live by:

You steer the ship the best way you know. Sometimes it’s smooth. Sometimes you hit the rocks. In the meantime, find pleasures where you can.

Favourite Hobbies:

I enjoy reading (mostly fiction), watching TV/movies and video games. Also, during Covid when I had nothing else to do I started taking care of all the plants in the house and realized that I liked house plants specifically, so I guess that is a hobby too.

Favourite chocolate bar:

I really like Aero. I don’t know why, it’s just the chocolate I’ve always liked since I was a kid.

Favourite show:

The Sopranos. Best T.V. show ever made, and a lot of other really great T.V. shows would not have been made if the Sopranos never existed.
