As a first-term Co-op student at DDL & Co., I am excited to have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of accounting. While I am still in the early stages of my professional career, I am actively involved in tasks such as financial data entry, reconciliations, preparing financial reports, and for this current co-op term specializing in assurance and corporate taxation.

What do you enjoy most about working at DDL & Co. in St. Catharines?

I enjoy the collaborative work environment at DDL & Co. The team here is incredibly supportive and always willing to help each other out. It creates a great atmosphere where I feel motivated and encouraged to do my best work every day and take on new opportunities. Furthermore, DDL & Co. promotes a culture of mentorship. Experienced professionals are always willing to share their expertise and provide guidance to help expand my skill set. 

Why did you choose an accounting career?

What attracted me to the accounting field was the opportunity to work with numbers and help businesses with their financial management. I have always had a strong interest in understanding how money flows within organizations, and accounting seemed like the perfect fit for me.

Away from work, I enjoy playing sports such as basketball, volleyball and golf. I also enjoy travelling and spending time with friends and family.
