Eric Piech

Eric joined DDL & Co. in January 2018.

Eric was born and raised in St. Catharines. He graduated from Brock University in 2013 with an Honours Bachelor of Accounting – Co-op degree. In 2014, he earned his Chartered Professional Accountant and Chartered Accountant designations from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario.

Eric previously worked for Grant Thornton LLP for 5 years and MacGillivray Partners for his 3 years as a co-op student. He has a wide array of experience in industries, including NPOs, charities, agriculture, professional practices, investment holdings, construction, pensions, and other various owner managed CCPCs. He has practiced accounting, tax, audit, and other assurance related engagements for many years. He has also spent 8 months working abroad in London, England where he was part of audit engagement teams that worked on various public institutions such as the NHS (National Healthcare System), local municipalities and boroughs, and pensions.

In his spare time Eric enjoys playing soccer, laying out on the beach at his family cottage and going to out to various events with friends and meeting new people.
