I have been practicing accounting for 12 years, and in 2023 become a Partner in the company. I specialize in yearend engagement work for corporations across various industries, as well as personal and corporate taxation This including compliance as well as planning and corporate reorganizing.

What do you enjoy most about working at DDL & Co. in St. Catharines?

I think the best part of working at DDL & Co. is our excellent work environment and staff. We have a great team here and we work well together to deliver an excellent service and response to our clients.

Why did you choose an accounting career?

I chose the accounting field because it affects everyone. Accounting is something that’s applicable in everyone’s daily lives, and not everyone understands it. I enjoy being a reliable source for people’s day to day issues and questions, and being able to aid them in realizing their full financial potential and optimize their savings makes the job worthwhile.

“You go around life once, so go for the gusto.”

Favourite Hobbies:

I thoroughly enjoy playing soccer and volleyball, or really staying active any way I can find. But I also like making time to relax, mostly on the beach to pass a few hours with a book. 

Favourite chocolate bar:

I think Reese counts as a chocolate bar. You just can’t beat the peanut butter and chocolate combination.

Favourite show:

Seinfeld. I love the outrageous characters and the irony that exists in every episode.
