I specialize primarily in corporate accounting, taxation, and assurance related services. I have worked in public accounting for over 8+ years and have received my chartered professional accountant and licensed public accountant designations. I have gained extensive experience working with clients in a variety of sectors, including medical practitioners, hospitality, political financing, real estate, and condominiums. I am also a leader in our quality assurance committee.

I enjoy most that working at DDL & Co. makes everyone feel like family, and the firm strongly encourages growth in the company while also providing the opportunities to develop meaning connections. I appreciate how the firm allows for strong connections between the professionals and its clients without placing limits on what we can provide to our clients. I also strongly admire the firm’s commitment to giving back to the community through the various philanthropic programs it offers. 

Why did you choose an accounting career?

I have always been interested in solving complex puzzles and wanted to find something that allowed me to work with people and numbers to make a meaningful impact. The more I learned about accounting the more I developed a passion to learn as much as I could from it.

I realized soon on that I could use my mathematical skills to help people navigate complex financial issues while making accounting easy to understand. I realized that my passion could translate to other people’s success in life and business, and this has motivated me to push myself every day to provide the best work I can for my clients.

Away from work, I enjoy spending time outdoors going on hikes, going to concerts, traveling, and spending time with friends.
